孙革 教授
 

孙 革 博士、教授,博士生导师,吉林大学古生物研究中心主任,东北亚国际地学研究与教学中心主任,中德联合实验室(中方)主任,《世界地质》和《Global Geology》杂志主编。1968年毕业于长春地质学院,1979-1984年中科院南京地质古生物所研究生,1985年获博士学位,1988-1989年在英国大英博物馆(自然史部)完成博士后研究. 1995-2000年任中国科学院南京地质古生物所副所长,并历任中国古生物学会秘书长(1997-2001)、国际古植物学会副主席(2000-2004)等。现为中国古生物学会古植物学分会理事长,《世界地质》(Global Geology)主编,美国佛罗里达大学(自然史博物馆)名誉教授. 专长于中生代植物及早期被子植物研究. 1998-2002年,率课题组首次发现迄今世界最早的被子植物“辽宁古果”及“中华古果”,提出“被子植物起源的东亚中心”假说,上述成果先后两次在美国《Science》杂志发表。 1997年获中国科学院自然科学二等奖、2004年获教育部提名国家自然科学奖一等奖、2005年度"李四光地质科学奖。
